BOMAG-compaction equipment

The BOMAG company convinces with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing of compaction technology. This also includes equipment for the range of earthmoving and asphalt construction.

The hand-guided double vibratory rollers are designed for universal application in earthmoving and asphalt construction. Depending on model and version, operating weights between 600 and 1000 kilograms and working widths of 600 mm up to 750 mm are available. Because of the low lateral projection, the proven powerful double vibration system, the easy handling and the low centre of gravity, the equipment is especially suited for new construction and maintenance of sidewalks, marginal strips, bicycle tracks, yard- and garage entrances, playgrounds as well as agricultural and forestry roads.  

With their high-impact resistant all round protection hood the Bomag multipurpose compactors ensure high availability, even in areas with the risk of tipping over. With their pad foot drums they are especially suited for applications in most difficult soil conditions. Whether highest manoeuvrability with the BMP 851 or best surface quality with the new articulated BMP 8500, with Bomag you are going to make the right choice.

As a result of the compact dimensions the lightweight Bomag tandem rollers in the range of 1,5 t up to 1,7 t (BW 80 AD-2, BW 90 AD-2 and BW 100 ADM-2) are suitable for work done on compaction in parking areas, on sports fields, footways and cycle ways as well as for connection works in road constructions. They combine reliability, mobility and visibility in an optimum form. The Bomag tandem rollers of 2,4 up to 3,2 t (BW 100 AD-4, BW 120 AD-4 and BW 125 AD-4) set new technical and optical accents and are practical all-rounders in daily work. The range of applications includes repairing of asphalt, construction of parking areas and sports fields, new construction of middle-sized streets as well as earthwork. The drive is a powerful 3-cylinder motor manufactured by Kubota with a smooth running performance. The compaction performance of the new rollers has been improved even further because of the new exciter system with two frequencies. Users are enthusiastic about the clearly laid out machines which are setting new standards vibration and low noise emission. 

Single drum rollers in the weight category of 7 up to 26 tons are suitable for medium and heavy earthwork, road construction, constructing of farming and forestry roads, landfill construction and embanking as well as the compaction of back-fillings in trench construction. D/DH/DHC - single drum rollers with smooth drum can be used for compacting non-cohesive soil materials like sand, gravel and mixed soils as well as unbound base courses. PD/PDH/PDHC - models with pad foot drum compact cohesive terrestrial building material.
